How to use
The aquarium filter pump should be cleaned at least once every 4 to 6 months in a fish tank, and once every 2 to 3 months in a reef tank. To clean the pump, follow these steps:
- Turn off the pump and disconnect the power supply.
- If you are cleaning an external pump, remove the inlet and outlet pipe.
- If the pump is in a sump, remove it from the console and sump.
- Remove the main casing from the pump.
- Clean the drive wheel with fresh water, and you can use a toothbrush to get rid of difficult-to-remove debris.
- Let the pump soak in the detergent solution, rinse it well, then let it dry.
- Reassemble the pump.
- Reconnect the power and it is ready for use.
